San Diego’s Little Italy

I’m not sure if this is a tourist thing or a local thing. Probably a mix of both. High end food mixes with really old school favorite restaurants in this area. Filippi’s has been a go-to for Italian food since I was young. I can’t say it is the best pizza in town but it’s hard to beat the nostalgia of walking in through their market. Those smells took me back in a second. Filippi’s Pizza Grotto Little Italy – San Diego
